Space x Nature Course (Southern Tanegashima)

— Healing in the sky that leads to the future, and the blue of the island —

A journey through the magnificent scenery unique to this rocket island, and the natural beauty woven by the sea, forests, and historic sites.

Enjoy the Pacific Ocean views at Cape Kadokura, spend quiet time at the sacred "Houman Shrine,"
then experience the dream of space at "Tanegashima Space Center."

After lunch, learn about the island's history at the "Hirota Ruins Museum,"
and find healing in nature at Mangrove Park.

You can also visit "Chikura no Iwaya," which appears at low tide.
On the way back to Nishinoomote, end the day enjoying the evening sea breeze and natural scenery.

History x Nature Course (Northern Tanegashima)

— Memories of the arrival of firearms, and prayers living in the forest —

Tanegashima is known as the place where firearms were first introduced to Japan.

A quiet journey through the historic sites and cultural properties remaining in Nishinoomote City,
touching ancient faith and the mysteries of nature.

Trace the footsteps of history at "Teppo-kan" and "Gesso-tei,"
then reflect on mythological traces at "Amamegakura."
Find healing in the island's original landscape at the "Hego Fern Colony" in Kunikami and "Kishigasaki Lighthouse."

End the day at "Urata Beach" or watching the sunset at "Itashikibana."
