Hotel Agreement

Accommodation contracts and related contracts concluded by this hotel shall be governed by the provisions of this Agreement. Matters not stipulated in this Agreement shall be governed by laws and regulations or established customs.

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, this hotel may accept special agreements to the extent that they do not contravene the purpose of this Agreement, laws and regulations, or established customs.

When the application for accommodation does not conform to this Agreement.

When the hotel is fully booked and no rooms are available.

When the prospective guest is deemed likely to engage in conduct that violates laws and regulations or public order and morals in connection with the accommodation.

When the prospective guest is clearly identified as having a contagious disease.

When special burdens are requested in connection with the accommodation.

When accommodation cannot be provided due to natural disasters, facility malfunctions, or other unavoidable reasons.

When the case falls under the provisions of Article 5 of the Kagoshima Prefectural Ordinance.

When this hotel accepts a reservation application, the hotel may request payment of a deposit up to the amount of accommodation charges for the accommodation period (up to 3 days if the accommodation period exceeds 3 days) by a specified deadline.

When the deposit falls under the cases prescribed in the following article, it shall be applied to the cancellation fee as specified in that article, and any remaining balance shall be returned.

When the applicant cancels all or part of a reservation, cancellation fees shall be charged in accordance with the Cancellation Fee Schedule. However, in the case of partial cancellation of a group reservation (a group of 15 or more paying members; the same applies hereinafter), this shall not apply to the number of persons equivalent to 10% of the reserved number as of the 10th day before the accommodation date (or the date the reservation was accepted if that date is later), rounded up to the nearest whole number.

If the guest does not arrive by 8:00 PM on the day of accommodation without prior notice (or 2 hours after the pre-notified expected arrival time), the hotel may treat the reservation as cancelled by the applicant.

If the reservation is deemed cancelled under the preceding paragraph, and the guest proves that the failure to arrive or give notice was due to reasons beyond the guest's control, such as the non-arrival or delay of public transportation including trains and aircraft, the cancellation fee under Paragraph 1 shall not be charged.

When the case falls under any of Items 3 through 7 of Article 2.

When the disclosure of information under Article 3, Item 1 is requested and such information is not disclosed by the deadline.

When the deposit under Article 4, Item 1 is requested and payment is not made by the deadline.

For foreign nationals: passport number, port of entry into Japan, and date of entry

If a guest voluntarily does not stay after occupying a room, the accommodation charges shall still be collected.

When the case falls under any of Items 3 through 7 of Article 2.

When the guest does not comply with the house rules set forth in the preceding article.

This hotel's liability for accommodation begins when the guest registers at the front office or enters the guest room, whichever comes first, and ends when the guest vacates the room upon departure.

When this hotel becomes unable to provide a room on the accommodation date due to reasons attributable to the hotel, the hotel shall, except in cases where this is difficult due to natural disasters or other reasons, arrange alternative accommodation at another facility under the same or similar conditions. In such cases, no accommodation charges shall be collected from the date the room could no longer be provided onward.

Individual Guests

If cancelled on the day before the accommodation date: 20% of the first night's accommodation charge per guest.

If cancelled on the day of accommodation: 80% of the first night's accommodation charge per guest.

Group Guests

If cancelled from 9 days to 2 days before the accommodation date: 10% of the first night's accommodation charge per guest.

If cancelled on the day before the accommodation date: 20% of the first night's accommodation charge per guest.

If cancelled on the day of accommodation: 80% of the first night's accommodation charge per guest.
