Tanegashima Onsen - “Akaogi no Yu” is classified the hot spring type “Sodium - Bicarbonate Hot Spring”, which characteristically removes old dead cells to make your skin smooth.
Bicarbonate springs are said to be among the three major hot spring types that create beautiful people, along with sulfate springs and sulfur springs. The appellation of “medical treatment springs” given to these hot springs means that these types of water are not simply hot springs but you can also expect medical effects from the water.
